We meet Hampus Karlberg at his office, which is still under construction. Once finished, it will have space for coding, pottery, and a soundproof room for drums and trumpet.
His path into IT started with studies in physics and robotics. It was not an obvious direction at first, but it turned out to suit him well. He describes it as finding his place in problem solving, rather than in the technology itself.
In 2022, Hampus started working as a freelancer. What attracted him most was the freedom, being able to manage his own time and shape his working life on his own terms.
On assignment within medtech
Today, he is on his second assignment through Senterprise, at a company within medtech. He describes it as an assignment that aligns well with what he is looking for, both in terms of technology and context.
“I was looking for something that had a purpose,” hesays . “My previous assignment was also close to healthcare, and I really enjoyed that. It may not appeal to those who want to work with the very latest and flashiest technology, but for me it is pretty much perfect. It feels good to contribute to something that means more.”
In his current assignment, Hampus works in a fullstack solution in Node, with a focus on backend. Technically, he describes it as a mix of something new and something familiar.
“A lot of it is about building frontend and backend in the same framework. The nice thing is that you get type safety all the way through and know that things behave as expected. It is a technology I have not worked with before, so it feels really fun.”

The collaboration with Senterprise began in 2022, when Hampus started his first assignment through us. He describes the collaboration as personal, with relevant assignments and a dialogue where it is possible to speak transparently about both terms and assignment choices.
“What I like is that Senterprise feels more human than many other companies, especially the larger ones” says Hampus. “You can also tell by the assignments I get presented with. I do not have to deal with things that are clearly not relevant to me.”
“With Senterprise, I have always been able to have an open dialogue about what I am looking for. It is also nice that things like contracts feel less complicated. I can call, ask a question and get an answer straight away.”
