About the assignment:
The area of Custody is undergoing a major transformation, implementing a new IT platform that will support clients business and operation in future proofing the services in the area. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the transformation by working as a Program Tech lead and Senior Technical advisor in this initiative.
Client are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tech Lead with a strong background in multi-cloud environments, technology connectivity, and advanced knowledge in authentication (Auth) and authorization (AuthZ). This role requires a versatile individual capable of both strategic architectural thinking and hands-on, operational work. A successful candidate should also have a proven track record in API development and management, messaging systems such as Kafka and Google Pub/Sub, and a solid understanding of custodial systems. This is a diverse and dynamic role that spans a wide range of responsibilities, from strategic planning and decision-making to handling operational tasks, such as managing URL connections or similar technical requests. The ideal candidate thrives in a multifaceted environment where both big-picture thinking and attention to detail are equally important.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architectural Design & Oversight: Guide the design and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure multi-cloud architectures.
• Hands-On Technical Leadership: Actively participate in development, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure seamless integration across cloud services and APIs.
• API Integration & Connectivity: Manage APIs, facilitating seamless connectivity with internal and external systems using tools like Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Auth & AuthZ Expertise: Oversee the design and implementation of secure authentication and authorization protocols within various tech ecosystems.
• Custodial System Knowledge: Apply custodial experience to ensure compliance, data security, and system reliability.
•People & Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication and support to foster strong team dynamics and project alignment.
Requirements:
• Proven expertise in multi-cloud solutions, specifically in hybrid and cloud-native architectures, Azure and Google Cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Pub/Sub for event-driven architecture.
• You bring banking experience, ideally with a background in custody services, focusing on system security and compliance.
• Knowledgeable in both Auth and AuthZ protocols.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Collaborative team member with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise.
