We are looking for a Senior Test automation engineer to one of our clients in Stockholm
3 Days on site in Central Stockholm.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our client’s forward-thinking, agile team developing advanced software solutions. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality through comprehensive testing and verification processes. You’ll collaborate with developers and product owners, leveraging both manual and automated testing strategies while supporting continuous integration efforts.
Your Key Contributions
- Analyze and review system and software requirements to ensure they are clear and testable.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for front-end web applications.
- Design and execute a mix of manual and automated test cases tailored to project needs.
- Conduct thorough testing across multiple platforms, focusing on quality and performance.
- Play an active role in test planning and assist with release management activities.
- Document test specifications, reports, and other verification artifacts.
- Identify, report, and help resolve defects, emphasizing root cause analysis.
What You Bring to the Team
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in software testing and verification, with a focus on strategy and planning.
- ISTQB certification is a must-have.
Valuable Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with safety-critical software development.
- Expertise in creating automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with web-based testing tools (knowledge of Mabl is a plus).
- Strong programming skills and understanding of development concepts.
- Familiarity with full-stack automation testing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing (security, performance, maintainability) is a bonus.
